As of the 31st of October, I’m so proud that We Are Ghost have announced a new name and brand identity — Ghost.
But it’s more than just a fancy new look! It’s a complete realignment of what it means to be Ghost. Today I present to you a Ghost who are driven to create impact, making real change happen for each of our clients by evoking belief that engages their audience.
For those of you who don’t know who’s behind the name — we’re a team of creatives who believe that a focused brand has real potential to make a positive difference. So we approach every project with the same mindset. We work with our clients to find the truth that gives their brand meaning. We help them to clarify the fuzzy and focus the blurry. This means we find the best ways to present concise brand offerings to an audience.
This new chapter of Ghost also sees us put into place a new team structure to support our team and the new vision as we go forward. David Agnew (Founder) and Myself (As the new Managing Director), are proud to announce that Anthony Jones and Mike Sweeting will be stepping into the roles of Client Director and Creative Director, respectively. I have always believed that the strongest asset of Ghost is its team. I have every confidence that my team will flourish and together we will shape this new Ghost.
All of this didn’t just appear out of thin air. We have never before taken such a long hard look at ourselves. We’ve never asked ourselves the difficult questions, like ‘why do we do what we do’.
It’s been a long road to get here today. The last few years have given everyone the opportunity to re-evaluate the way they work and communicate, and we were no exception. Every day I saw my team asking questions of our clients’ brands and crafting designs that answered their problems and made sense of the way their businesses communicated.
The time had come for us to do the same for ourselves. So I gathered the team and asked the same of them. What does the future of Ghost look like? I knew that if we were really going to do this, we needed to treat this with the importance of a client project, ensuring that we gave this project the time it deserved!
The new Ghost you can see here today is a culmination of the hard work from everyone in the team, and I’m so excited to share this new chapter of Ghost with our clients, collaborators and teammates.
